Are you ready to take charge of your own long-term wellness? Combining yoga and physical therapy—two instruments that each produce their own effective healing tune—can create a duet of unparalleled whole-system healing and health.
Join Harvey Deutch, PT, founder of Red Hawk Physical Therapy, for a 5-day exploration of life-long wellness through yoga and physical therapy. Harvey combines his 38 years as a physical therapist and decade of teaching yoga to present his “tickets to paradise”—an approach that gives practitioners the responsibility to continue their healing path with their own personalized program.
Over five engaging days, you will:
- Learn to use yoga and self-care to live a healthier and pain-free life
- Study functional anatomy to better understand how your body moves and works
- Build a thoughtful, therapeutic foundation for your own self-practice to meet your individual needs.
Known for his humor and laser-sharp precision working with the body, Harvey will guide you through a combination of educational exercises, salon-style seminars, Iyengar-influenced yoga practice, Therapy Ball release techniques, and breathwork.
Return home empowered with real, actionable ways to improve your health and life.
Harvey Deutch, PT
Physical therapist and yoga teacher
Harvey Deutch is a physical therapist, yogi, and acclaimed teacher. With 38 years of experience, Harvey has been merging the art and science of yoga and physical therapy, exploring and perfecting the nuances of each. His laser-sharp precision, keen eye for working with the physical form, and ability to understand the energetic body (along with his signature humor) make him a master healer.
He is the founder, owner, and senior therapist at Red Hawk Physical Therapy in San Francisco. When not healing bodies at his thriving clinic, Harvey leads sold-out workshops and retreats at Esalen Institute and at yoga studios throughout California.
He is the senior anatomy teacher for Yoga Tree San Francisco’s teacher trainings, where he encourages his students to not only discover answers, but also to inquire in ways that might be new to them. He is well-known for taking two-dimensional anatomy off the page and bringing it to life on the mat. Over three decades in the making, Harvey’s healing work grows more robust with every patient and student.View Bio Page
