This comprehensive, professional children’s yoga and mindfulness teacher training will equip you with the knowledge and confidence you need to incorporate these life-changing practices into classrooms from pre-school through high school.

Join Jennifer Cohen Harper, founder of Little Flower Yoga, plus education experts Mayuri and Argos Gonzalez, for seven days of lecture, group work, discussion, and self-reflection. Come away energized and prepared to teach holistic, trauma-informed classes for children.

    Jennifer Cohen Harper, MA, E-RYT, RCYT

    Children's yoga and mindfulness expert, founder Little Flower Yoga

    Jennifer is a leading voice in the children’s yoga and mindfulness community. She is the author of Little Flower Yoga for Kids and co-editor of Best Practices for Yoga in Schools.

    She is the founder and director of Little Flower Yoga, a national organization based in New York, and The School Yoga Project, which brings yoga and mindfulness to schools nationwide, including directly serving over 5,000 children per week in NYC alone. She provides therapeutic and trauma-informed yoga classes to children and families, and continuing education to mental health and education professionals.

    Jennifer is the board president of the Yoga Service Council, originator of the Yoga Service Conference, and an active member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Her work has been featured in publications including The New York Times, The International Journal of Yoga Therapy, New York Magazine, Huffington Post, and Yoga Journal, and endorsed by leaders including Dan Siegel, Sharon Salzberg, and Congressman Tim Ryan.     Argos Gonzalez, MEd, RCYT

    Youth yoga and mindfulness teacher, trainer of school teachers

    Argos is a teacher, lecturer, and mindfulness and yoga instructor. He has 13 years of experience teaching high school in the Bronx and teaches both pre-service and in-service teachers at Hunter College School of Education.

    Argos is certified through both Mindful Schools and Little Flower Yoga, and currently serves as the director of professional development for The School Yoga Project. Argos was a contributing editor to Best Practices for Yoga in Schools, and has been featured in national media including NPR and The Atlantic.

    As a frequent speaker at conferences including the Kripalu Yoga in Schools Symposium, Bridging the Hearts and Minds of Youth, the Omega Mindfulness in Education Conference, and the Yoga Service Conference, Argos is a trusted expert in both the yoga/mindfulness and education worlds. His work reflects his deep passion for empowering children and adolescents, and supporting other education professionals to do the same.

    Mayuri Gonzalez, E-RYT, RCYT

    Leader in yoga and wellness for children and young adults

    Mayuri is a nationally recognized presenter, author, trainer, and instructor in mindfulness and children’s yoga, leading teacher trainings and continuing education seminars throughout the world.

    She has more than 25 years of experience practicing yoga and mindfulness, including 18 years as a teacher. In her role as director of the School Yoga Project, she mentors teachers, counselors, and school support staff by developing innovative and sustainable programs to infuse mindfulness, wellness, and yoga into school culture.

    Mayuri has presented at conferences including the Bridging Hearts and Minds of Youth Conference, National Kids Yoga Conference, and the Women of Tomorrow Conference. She is a contributing author to Transforming Education: Best Practices for Yoga in Schools, published by the Yoga Service Council and Omega Institute.
