What is your deepest, most meaningful experience of being? What are the truest, wisest, most loving insights you’ve had in your life? And what would it look like to live from the fullness and depth of your being, every day?
These are the questions that take form whenever you aspire to live from the depth of your being—that sacred, unconfined space within you. Join spiritual teacher and author of The Way of Liberation Adyashanti to engage these questions in a deep inquiry of how the empty fullness of being moves and expresses itself in the world of time, form, and daily living.
During this weekend retreat, you will participate in talks, guided and silent meditations, question-and-answer dialogue sessions, and qigong body movement. You will also explore:
- Ways to awaken from the egocentric perspective and take a courageous leap beyond the known confines of the egocentric operating system—continually
- How to deepen and broaden the awakened view to inhabit the domain of dharma, of wisdom and love expressing themselves in the act and art of daily living
- Tools to orient your life toward your most profound experience of being and close the gap between deep moments of insight and your everyday life
- How to embrace fear and move forward in love, embodying the sacred within your humanity.
Spiritual teacher and spiritual director of Open Gate Sangha
Adyashanti, author of The Way of Liberation, Falling into Grace, True Meditation, and The End of Your World, is an American-born spiritual teacher devoted to serving the awakening of all beings. His teachings are an open invitation to stop, inquire, and recognize what is true and liberating at the core of all existence.
Adyashanti, whose name means primordial peace, was asked to teach in 1996 by his Zen teacher of 14 years. He offers teachings that are free of any tradition or ideology. “The Truth I point to is not confined within any religious point of view, belief system, or doctrine, but is open to all and found within all.”
Based in California, Adyashanti lives with his wife, Mukti, an associate teacher of Open Gate Sangha. He teaches throughout North America and Europe, offering talks, weekend intensives, silent retreats, and live internet radio broadcasts.
Adyashanti’s nondual teachings have been compared to those of the early Zen masters and Advaita Vedanta sages. Expressing both the infinite possibilities and the ordinary simplicity of a spiritually realized life, Adyashanti directs his teachings at those who are sincerely called to awaken to their true nature and embody this life-changing realization.
