Heal illness, cut through destructive emotions, and release negative energies with the ancient Buddhist ritual known as Healing Chöd. This ritual is commonly revered for its power to alleviate physical, emotional, and mental illness and suffering. Best of all, there are no elaborate techniques to learn: simply lie down, rest, and receive the healing.
In this program, Lama Migmar Tseten will guide you step-by-step through an immersive and gentle experience of the Dakini’s Heart-Essence Chöd. Based on the female Buddha Vajrayogini, the practice originated with the tenth century Indian yogi Mahasiddha Naropa and has been used continuously to unblock any obstacle to complete well-being.
The Healing Chöd ritual consists of:
- Music, prayers, and mantras in the sacred sounds of Sanskrit and Tibetan
- Transformative mudras and offerings
- Guided and group meditation
- Gifted empowerments that further increase healing blessings.
All are welcome—Healing Chöd is suitable for everyone, including those with chronic or mild illnesses. You don’t need any prior knowledge, established practice, or experience of Buddhism. Join us.
