Program Description

Feel free, unconditioned, playful, and reverent—leap into the arms of the sky with abandon and ground into the earth with the assurance of being held. Conscious movement magnanimously awakens the spirit, nudging the innovative, creative, action-oriented force within you.

Get yourself on the dance floor with master teacher and choreographer Vinn Arjuna Martí for Soul Motion, a conscious dance practice to revive your senses and open you up to radical awe and wonder. Through guided imagery, teachings, and open dance sessions, you will unwind in a stream of creative expression, taps, jumps, lurches, and divine dialogue.

In this joyful movement experience, you will learn:

  • The power of being present with any and all conditions
  • Principles for living a more open, relaxed, and creative life
  • To access your relationship with the divine spark that inspires us all
  • To create a place for stillness and prayer within your dance practice.

Come together to practice an embodied state of living and being, on and off the dance floor—to find sanctuary in heaven and earth, in movement and stillness, in self, and in the world. Soar high above any tension and constriction that holds you in fixed perspectives about dance, grace, expression, and being enough. Let’s move!

    Vinn Arjuna Martí

Founder of Soul Motion® and conscious dance teacher

Vinn Arjuna Martí melds spiritual teachings, philosophy, deep body awareness, and kick-ass dance to create a conscious awareness of the body and the soul
His work is playful, deep, reverent, and curious. He specifically uses sensory body movement, and somatic, visceral, and reflective landscapes in his teachings. Referencing all different “wisdom traditions” and artists, his spicy, raunchy Bronx boy flavor is charismatic, mischievous, and immediate and his own reflective practice brings a humbleness and self irony that is refreshing and appealing.
Somebody who meditates in the morning, moans at the news, and moves as the mystery, Vinn Arjuna has an ability to charm and disarm his students. A sensitive yet wild man, Vinn Arjuna is a master of movement ritual who supports his students in listening to their bodies as a pathway to understanding their inner critics and inhibitions.
