Program Description

Has your life ever taken a challenging turn that you didn’t see coming? Dealing effectively with the challenges and crises of life is the core of our resilience and well-being. Developing flexible and adaptive strategies for coping with everyday disappointments and extraordinary disasters is at the heart of any transformative process-and essential to recovering from any trauma.
Join Linda Graham to draw on the evidence-based tools of relational psychotherapy, is informed by neuroscience, and emphasizes mindfulness and self-compassion practices to show you how to shift brain functioning and coping behaviors. It includes presentations, guided meditations and visualizations, group discussions, gentle movement, and written reflection.

You will gain tools to deepen the self-compassion and empathy that connect you to your inner resources for thriving and flourishing.

Highlights of the workshop will be learning reliable and proven ways to:

  • Reverse the impact of stress and trauma
  • Come out of anxiety, depression, addictions, grief, loneliness, guilt, and shame
  • Strengthen relationships that are healthy and nourishing
  • Bypass the voice of the inner critic and open to self-trust and new possibilities.

As a result, you will learn to discern options and make wise choices that lead to a truly authentic sense of self, meaningful work, and connection to your life’s purpose.

You will take home specific practices to continue to rewire your brain’s automatic patterns of response and reinforce new patterns of resiliency and well-being.

    Linda Graham, MFT

    Psychotherapist and meditation teacher

    Linda Graham has been an ardent practitioner and facilitator of personal growth and self-transformation for more than 20 years. She integrates the paradigms and practices of modern neuroscience, Western relational psychology, and Eastern contemplative practices in order to help people shift out of old response patterns into flexible, adaptive patterns that lead to authentic resilience and well-being.

    Drawing on her own experience as a seasoned clinician—integrating mindfulness practice, experiential psychotherapies, and findings from neuroscience—she has published numerous articles in national publications, as well as Bouncing Back: Rewiring Your Brain for Maximum Resilience and Well-Being, a book offering groundbreaking tools and techniques for rewiring old response patterns.

    In helping and guiding others, she sources her own experiences of healing and awakening, as well as more than two decades of integrative study, practice, and teaching of transformational psychotherapies, vipassana meditation, life coaching, and facilitating groups and workshops.

    CEs Available

    Cancellations and Refunds
    If You Cancel

    • If you cancel 14 or more days prior to your arrival date, payments made will be refunded in full (less a $50 processing fee).
    • If you cancel between 13 days and 1 day prior to your arrival date, a nonrefundable credit (less a $50 processing fee) will be held for one year from the date of issue.
    • No credit or refund is available if you cancel on your arrival day, if you do not show up, or if you leave a program or event early.
    • No refund will be available if you attend a program and are dissatisfied with its presentation or content.

    If 1440 Multiversity Cancels

    On rare occasions, due to unforeseen circumstances, 1440 Multiversity may need to cancel a program. Should this circumstance arise, you will receive a full refund.
