Program Description

Women’s spirits have qualities similar to fire: they can be warm and illuminating or intense and focused, they can blaze up, burn out, or lie dormant. Out of control, they can become destructive. Learn to express your fiery spirit and passion through creativity, spirituality, and sexuality—or channel your outrage through activism—with a supportive circle of women.

During this powerful workshop, Jean Shinoda Bolen, MD, will draw from her experience as a Jungian analyst and storyteller to empower you with psychological insights woven together with storytelling, myths, and music.

In this profound retreat, you will:

  • Spend time in small circles with a sacred center for discussion and listening
  • Explore a variety of myths and goddess archetypes and their relevance to your life’s path and phase of life
  • Learn how to use the archetypes for support and wisdom as you move forward
  • Enjoy moments of self-reflection to explore life as a spiral journey, and individuation as your soul path.

The spirit of women is ignited: women’s marches, the “me too.” movement, growing numbers of women running for political office. Explore the active archetypes in your life and get grounded in the world you live in for your own strength, peace, and power.
