Feeling confused, uninspired, or directionless? A sense of true wonder is the one human experience that dissolves our habitual ways of perceiving problems—in work, relationships, and life—so we can conceive radically new solutions. Beyond grit, focus, and 10,000 hours of deliberate practice, wonder is the surprising advantage of the people who describe themselves as fulfilled and living with purpose.
Join master teacher and psychology-of-creativity expert Jeffrey Davis and special guest Leo Babauta to learn evidence-based positive practices for a wonder-filled life. These methods have helped entrepreneurs, executives, creatives, and others retrain themselves to engage in life with more motivation and curiosity. Jeffrey and Leo synthesize research on 200 top performers incorporating positive psychology, neuropsychology, creativity, Zen Buddhism, and yogic skills, and share it with you.
During the week you will:
- Track moments from morning to evening with a custom Tracking Wonder daybook
- Learn how to optimally engage specific neuronal networks to induce increased openness and spontaneous, creative problem-solving
- Switch awareness from intentional focus to deliberate daydreaming
- Awaken your “young genius” strengths and watch your mind’s natural activity with meta-awareness meditation.
Instead of starting the new year looking to a brand-new job, relationship, or locale to inspire the embodied change you desire, let a new set of daily practices lead you on a path of purpose and creativity right where you are.
