Lissa Rankin, MDPhysician, mystic, student and scholar of sacred medicine
Lissa Rankin is a physician, spiritual mentor, mystic, and founder of the Whole Health Medicine Institute, an Inner Pilot Light-enlivening program for healthcare providers that marries science and spirituality in medicine.
Bridging seemingly disparate worlds, Lissa is a connector, collaborator, curator, and amplifier, broadcasting not only her unique visionary ideas, but also those of cutting-edge visionaries she trusts, especially in the field of her latest research into sacred medicine.
As part of this research, Lissa has been traveling around the world, meeting with shamans in Peru, qigong masters from China, energy healers from Hawaii, electric healers in Bali, and a variety of other mystical healers. She is on a grassroots mission to put the “care” back in healthcare, to reunite healing and spirituality, and to inspire sacred activists to participate in the transformation of consciousness that is revolutionizing the world with acts of love, compassion, and kindness.
Lissa has starred in two PBS specials, and her four TEDx talks have been viewed over 3 million times. She is the New York Times best-selling author of the books Mind Over Medicine, The Fear Cure, The Anatomy of a Calling, and her daily email The Daily Flame. Lissa leads workshops, both online and at retreat centers, and lives in Marin County, California, with her daughter, Siena.
