Do you feel derailed by a sabotaging force you can’t even see? Neuroscience tells us that unconscious beliefs and impulses drive 90 percent of our behaviors and emotional reactions. That’s internal resistance that lies far beneath our daily awareness. Shifting those core beliefs sets the stage for all other life changes we desire.
Unpack your hidden core beliefs and take charge of changing them in this 5-day workshop with Gary van Warmerdam. Address and shift the beliefs underlying judgmental thoughts about yourself and others—stop driving insecurity, anger, bad habits, and self-destructive behavior, or even sabotaging your success in business and relationships.
Gary will help you:
- Use a systematic approach to uncover your thoughts and internal emotions
- Dismantle layers of the mind that often take years to reveal
- Map your beliefs into an organized inventory
- Become an observer of your thoughts and beliefs, stepping outside of your ego mind
- Learn how your deep belief system is fundamental to everything you do.
Through cognitive inventory skills, exercises in expanding perception and awareness, mindfulness meditations, journaling (with a twist), shamanic ceremony, and more, you’ll gain a tool kit for identifying and altering those deep, invisible beliefs that have been holding you back.

Happiness coach, belief systems expert
Gary van Warmerdam has been teaching people to challenge and change their belief systems for 20 years. He is the author of MindWorks: A Practical Guide for Changing Thoughts, Beliefs and Emotional Reactions. He is also the creator of the website PathwayToHappiness.com, an interactive website with lessons on changing beliefs, working through emotional issues, and developing personal power.
After an emotionally dramatic relationship and a job that left him burnt-out and unhappy, Gary became motivated to understand how his deeply held beliefs affected his emotions and decision making. He studied intensely with don Miguel Ruiz, author of The Four Agreements, for over 10 years, and his background as an engineer brings a commonsense approach to addressing issues of beliefs, emotions, mindfulness, and spirituality.
Gary co-developed and taught the Four Agreements facilitators training at the Omega Institute and The Crossings in Austin, Texas. Currently, he teaches workshops throughout the country, leads spiritual retreats to Mexico, and coaches individual clients. His multidimensional methods are based in universal principles found in many spiritual traditions and paired with careful observation in order to get practical results.View Bio Page
