Gary van WarmerdamHappiness coach, belief systems expert
Gary van Warmerdam has been teaching people to challenge and change their belief systems for 20 years. He is the author of MindWorks: A Practical Guide for Changing Thoughts, Beliefs and Emotional Reactions. He is also the creator of the website PathwayToHappiness.com, an interactive website with lessons on changing beliefs, working through emotional issues, and developing personal power.
After an emotionally dramatic relationship and a job that left him burnt-out and unhappy, Gary became motivated to understand how his deeply held beliefs affected his emotions and decision making. He studied intensely with don Miguel Ruiz, author of The Four Agreements, for over 10 years, and his background as an engineer brings a commonsense approach to addressing issues of beliefs, emotions, mindfulness, and spirituality.
Gary co-developed and taught the Four Agreements facilitators training at the Omega Institute and The Crossings in Austin, Texas. Currently, he teaches workshops throughout the country, leads spiritual retreats to Mexico, and coaches individual clients. His multidimensional methods are based in universal principles found in many spiritual traditions and paired with careful observation in order to get practical results.
