Faculty Bio
Todd Adams<i>Zen Parenting Radio</i> cohost and family life coach
Todd Adams has been the cohost of the Zen Parenting Radio podcast with his wife, Cathy, for the last eight years. The weekly show, a top-ten kids and family podcast on iTunes, focuses on self-awareness, mindfulness, compassion, and empathy.
A cofounder of The Tribe Men’s Group, Todd is a certified life coach who focuses on supporting men in marriage, parenting, career, and finding a healthy work and family balance, as well as overall self-awareness and life enjoyment.
When not working or spending time with his wife and three daughters, Todd enjoys practicing yoga and playing basketball. He always has a baseball and two baseball gloves in the trunk “just in case.”

Cathy Cassani Adams, LCSW, CPC<i>Zen Parenting Radio</i> cohost and self-awareness and parenting expert
Cathy Cassani Adams is a self-awareness teacher focused on parenting and the personal empowerment of women and young girls. She’s a certified parent coach, elementary school teacher, yoga teacher, and former child and family therapist and clinical educator at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Cathy currently teaches in the sociology department at Dominican University and Elmhurst College.
For eight years Cathy and her husband, Todd—parents to three girls ages 11, 14, and 16—have hosted Zen Parenting Radio, a top-ten kids and family podcast on iTunes. They are the creators of the annual Zen Parenting Conference in Chicago.
Cathy, a sought-after speaker and advocate for women, created and facilitated a self-awareness program for preadolescent girls called Be U. Her most recent book, Living What You Want Your Kids to Learn: The Power of Self-Aware Parenting, won a Nautilus Book Award, National Indie Excellence Award, and an International Book Award.
