Program Description

All stories have an outside and an inside. The outside is linear—rooted in what the Greeks called chronos or clock-time. Inside—a hidden thread of grace—is an archetypal story of awakening that lives in the multidimensional world of kairos, the timeless dimension.

Immerse yourself in the art and heart of story in this weekend workshop with Joan Borysenko, PhD, world-renowned expert in the mind-body connection. Through meditation, exercises to expand your imagination, reading, sharing, and contemplative writing, you will:

  • Gain perspective on your life and uncover the bones of your spiritual journey
  • Reflect on your relationships and the meaning within them
  • Find your voice and identify the narrative arcs in your life
  • Create an outline for a memoir and use it to write four key stories
  • Learn the connection between story, health, and well-being.

Join with others who have come together to make meaning and share the legacy of their lives. Leave inspired by story, ready to write, and enlightened to the invisible thread of grace weaving its way through your life.
