José Stevens, PhD
Shamanic practitioner, consultant, and trainer
José Stevens is a renowned international lecturer on shamanism, corporate team builder and organizational coach, consultant, and trainer. A psychologist and licensed clinical social worker, he is also author of numerous articles and more than 20 books, including The Power Path: The Shaman’s Way to Success in Business and Life and Awaken the Inner Shaman: A Guide to the Power Path of the Heart.
He’s also co-editor of A Journal of Contemporary Shamanism and a board member of the Society for Shamanic Practice.
José completed a ten-year apprenticeship with a Huichol Maracame in Mexico and studied with the Shipibos of the Amazon and the Paqos of the Andes for more than 30 years.
He is cofounder, with his wife Lena, of the Power Path School of Shamanism and the Center for Shamanic Education and Exchange, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the education and preservation of indigenous cultures. The Power Path School offers an extensive experiential curriculum based on many years of study with indigenous shamans around the world.
José leads experiential, transformational, and life-changing shamanic retreats and trainings for individuals and business groups. He offers clients guidance in many areas of work, health, relationships, partnerships, projects, and major decisions.View Bio Page
