Program Description

If you have ever felt like a piece of taffy being pulled in several directions at once, you are not alone.

Never before have women been called upon to play so many roles simultaneously. The key to consistently functioning at a high level lies in taking advantage of the healthy boost that stress gives us, while managing competing priorities.

Caroline S. Welch and Susan Kaiser Greenland, both business owners who trained as attorneys and maintained careers while raising children, bring their diverse experiences to this unique workshop. You will explore how mindfulness and meditation can help you rid yourself of destructive patterns and better navigate the maze that is modern life.

Through presentations, experiential immersion, good humor, poetry, and lively discussion you will learn:

  • The four Ps—presence, prioritizing, pacing, and pivoting—to replace juggling and multi-tasking
  • The three Rs: using transition time to rest, reframe, and rejuvenate
  • The compelling science behind how awareness, integration, and relationships—especially friendships—support overall well-being
  • The sensitivity and function of the nervous system and how it responds during interactions with others.

Too much stress can be harmful. Healthy stress lights up our brain circuits and focuses our attention. This weekend you will learn strategies to manage stress, use it to your advantage, and experience greater efficiency, happiness, and well-being in everything that you do.
