Program Description

“Don’t miss this! No human being on this planet has changed my life more than Martha Beck.” – Elizabeth Gilbert, best-selling author of Eat, Pray, Love.

A rare opportunity to spend an in-person weekend with Martha Beck gaining skills in resiliency and weathering transformation.

It’s never been more true that change is the only constant in our lives. Every day, millions of people grapple with situations that were unimaginable just one generation ago. And the pace of change is not slowing: on the contrary, it’s speeding up.

So how do we, creatures of habit that we are, learn to navigate in an environment where nothing remains stable?

Martha Beck has spent decades as a social scientist and coach, studying change, how it affects people’s lives and how we can not only stop fearing it but actually use it to thrive.

In this three-day workshop, Martha will help you understand the fluid conditions of twenty-first century living. She will give you tools for working with change, and most importantly, teach you to use your innate skills and instinctive knowledge to “surf” the waves of change that are continuously transforming our world.

Workshop participants will:

  • Learn to drop away from the “tameness” of socialization, which holds us back from fluid change, and live more freely, authentically, and successfully.
  • Track and find the “wild self” that is always guiding each of us toward our optimal life path.
  • Tap into limitless resources of power, creativity, peace, purpose, and joy.
  • Use the “wild mind” in real time to invent creative, often unprecedented solutions to the practical problems in a constantly changing life situation.

Leave the workshop with new peace, purpose, and a practice to carry the skills learned in the workshop into every aspect of life.

    Best-known life coach in America

Martha Beck grew up wanting to be an ecologist or a professor. However, after bearing three children while acquiring three Harvard degrees, Martha decided she’d rather just lie down for a few decades.

Martha has been a columnist for O, The Oprah Magazine since its inception in 2001 and has been a contributing editor for several popular magazines, including Real Simple and Redbook.

Martha continues to speak around the world as well as offer virtual classes and in-person workshops a few times a year, primarily at her ranch on the Central Coast of California, where she lives with her partner, Karen, and her son, Adam.
