Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacherBob Stahl has founded eight Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programs in the San Francisco Bay Area and currently directs MBSR programs at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, California, El Camino Hospital at both the Mountain View and Los Gatos campuses, and Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Gatos.A longtime practitioner of insight meditation, Dr. Stahl lived in a Theravada Buddhist forest monastery for more than eight years and is now the guiding teacher at Insight Santa Cruz, as well as a visiting teacher at Spirit Rock.
