Program Description

Join master teacher Sally Kempton and discover a radical and transformative yogic approach to working with your difficult emotions. Rather than staying stuck in painful and confusing emotional habits, you can learn to transmute that energy into a pathway toward personal transformation.

Sally, a 45-year practitioner in a tradition of enlightenment, has a unique ability to guide people into both meditative experience and transformative insight.

In this contemplative, heart-centered weekend you will learn:

  • Core tantric principles and processes for transmuting uncomfortable emotional habits— including fear, anger, cravings, sadness, and jealousy—into creative energy
  • How to find the power hidden within intense emotions
  • To recognize emotional contraction or numbness and use it as a roadmap for your spiritual growth.

Through sessions of deep meditation, contemplation, yoga, mantra, movement practice, drawing, and journaling, as well as lectures and opportunities for questions, we will explore the roots of disruptive emotional tendencies. You will learn what to do to recognize and free yourself, moment by moment, from emotions that block you.

You will leave the workshop with tools that redirect the energy tied up in obstructive patterns, energy you can use for the rest of your life as you master turning the poisons of negative or painful feelings into the nectar of spacious inner freedom and power.
