Program Description

We often take refuge, and sometimes seek safety and happiness, in material things and sensual pleasures. But true happiness cannot come from outside. We must seek a reliable internal refuge—the way of true compassion and wisdom manifested in the lotus heart and diamond mind. Join Buddhist teacher and renowned author of Dharma Punx Noah Levine, MA, and yoga teacher and performing artist MC YOGI at this inspiring, insight-filled weekend workshop.

You will delve into the connection between yoga and meditation through vividly embodied practices with two of the most popular teachers of their generation. They will lead you through the core teachings of the Buddha’s Four Noble Truths: acknowledging the suffering in life, seeing the causes of suffering, seeing that there is an end to suffering, and the path out of suffering—awakening to your deepest wisdom and compassion.

You will also explore:

  • Daily yoga practices and meditation sessions to open the seat of compassion, the lotus heart, and to tap into the insights of the diamond mind
  • Exercises in lovingkindness and compassion and in developing your own potential for awakening (Buddha), the path that leads to awakening (Dharma), and the community that supports us on the path (Sangha)
  • The opportunity to formally commit or recommit to the path of awakening.
