Program Description

There is much more to life than what we see, hear, smell, touch, and taste. Conventional science has limited “reality” to the proof of our external senses. But consciousness underlies all of existence, and the spiritual realm is a collective truth that can no longer be dismissed—and that can be accessed by each of us.

Any true vision of health must include not only the physical, mental, and emotional realms, but most importantly, the spiritual. Choices and outcomes are transformed by a greater awareness through strong heart connection and soul perspective.

Dive into infinite awareness and integrate the soul’s journey with daily life through reflection, discussion, and embodied exploration. Access profound insights from your personal experience and how you twine with an evolving consciousness. In this illuminating workshop you will:

  • Explore nonconventional definitions of brain and consciousness
  • Learn about “brain entrainment” and how it is effective
  • Experience advanced Sacred Acoustic tools in group sound journeys
  • Practice styles of meditation and discover meditation’s benefits for daily, conscious well-being
  • Activate the heart’s crucial role in balancing the linguistic brain.

Transcend the limits of the physical-material human brain to awaken your inner knowing and the deep interconnectedness of all existence with your own fundamental nature—because the answers truly lie within us all.

    Eben Alexander, MD

    Author and Neurosurgeon

Eben Alexander is a renowned academic neurosurgeon who has been teaching for more than 25 years. For 15 of those years he taught at the Brigham & Women‰’s and the Children‰’s Hospitals and at Harvard Medical School, both in Boston.

In 2008, a rare brain illness left him in a weeklong coma, from which he woke with memories of a transcendental near-death experience (NDE). This threw everything he thought he knew about the workings of the brain and the mind into question. In the process of reconciling his NDE with contemporary physics and cosmology, he discovered that it was consistent with the leading edges of current scientific understanding.

Dr. Alexander‰’s story and research provide a path toward understanding the deeper, more powerful implications of the symbiosis of science and spirituality‰—a symbiosis that can offer profound insight into fundamental truth and confirm the importance of individual conscious awakening.

His first book, Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon‰’s Journey into the Afterlife, has spent more than two years as a New York Times bestseller and has been published in 43 countries. His second book, The Map of Heaven, explores humankind‰’s spiritual history and stories of unexplained phenomena and near-death experiences.

    Karen Newell

    Cofounder of Sacred Acoustics

Karen Newell, cofounder of Sacred Acoustics, is an innovator in the emerging field of brainwave entrainment meditation.

As a copresenter of workshops worldwide with bestselling author Dr. Eben Alexander, Karen empowers others with practices such as heart awareness, intention, maintaining neutrality, emotional management, and cultivating internal knowing.

Her lifelong passion to reveal the truth of our ancient past and the significance of sacred sites led her avidly seek out nonconventional sources of history, spirituality, science, and healing. As a result, it became clear to her that direct experience is crucial to true knowing and understanding.

Through her own direct experience, Karen discovered that the most effective aid for meditation‰—what allowed her to reach the expanded states of awareness she sought‰—was monotonous sound, simple tones produced by crystal bowls, tuning forks, gongs, chimes, and human chanting. As a result, she joined with Kevin Kossi to create original recordings and listening sessions that invite expanded states of consciousness.
