Program Description

Nearly 75 percent of us are dissatisfied with our friendships. But that isn’t because of any lack in people skills, not being likable enough, or not getting enough interaction. It’s because too many relationships lack “frientimacy”—the friendship intimacy—that we really yearn for.

We don’t need more friends or more socializing—we need more safety, support, laughter, and real connection.  This workshop will teach you what healthy friendship looks like, how to evaluate relationships, and exactly what it takes to deepen any bond.

This interactive and engaging program is based on friendship expert Shasta Nelson’s work, Friendships Don’t Just Happen! and Frientimacy: How to Deepen Friendships for Lifelong Health and Happiness.Through guided experience, lecture, and self-reflection, you will:

  • Discover the health benefits of connectedness
  • Practice the five circles of connectedness and learn the different types of friendship
  • Explore the four common imbalances and your specific friendship needs
  • Apply the three requirements, and learn how to nurture, grow, fix, or end a friendship.

Leave this weekend knowing exactly how to begin better friendships, deepen the ones you have, and repair any relationship in your life.
