The instinct to love is a powerful force within each of us. How do we keep it vibrant and alive? How do we bring more of our life energies into building fresh and thriving relationships?

Together, in this powerful retreat with meditation teachers Lorin Roche, PhD, and Camille Maurine, learn wisdom from decades of inner practice and 36 years of a creative intimate relationship. Discover the awareness techniques of Tantric meditation for this daring adventure and encourage a marriage of passion and serenity. Bring your questions, your longing, and your love!

During this energizing workshop, addressing both male and female perspectives, you will explore methods for letting ordinary, everyday sensations, desires, and emotions call you into meditation as you:

  • Experience meditation as the practice of intimacy with all of life
  • Immerse yourself in the primordial energies flowing through your body
  • Set yourself free in meditation and find what works for you as an individual
  • Discover how your practice emerges effortlessly from your passion for life
  • Build skills for meditating during challenges and stressful life events.

Being intimately connected to what we love makes us vulnerable—each relationship challenges us to bring forth the best within us. Take home meditations you can use to nourish and support all of your intimate relationships—with nature, with yourself, and with others.

  • Faculty Bio
    Lorin Roche, PhD

Lorin Roche began meditating in a physiology lab at the University of California in 1968 and immediately fell in love with the practice. He began teaching meditation in 1970 and earned his doctorate from University of California, Irvine for his work on the subjective experience of meditation.

He trains meditation teachers worldwide and specializes in helping people customize individual meditation practices to align with their unique nature. Rather than imposing a standardized, one-size-fits-all model, he has drawn on insights from the best of Western science and Eastern yoga to create his own approach called Instinctive Meditation.

Lorin is the author of several books, including Meditation Made EasyThe Radiance Sutras: 112 Gateways to the Yoga of Wonder and Delight, and, with his wife Camille Maurine, Meditation Secrets for Women: Discovering Your Passion, Pleasure, and Inner Peace.
