    Rochelle McLaughlin, MS, OTR/L

    Mindfulness instructor, holistic healthcare expert

Rochelle McLaughlin is a clinician of mind/body medicine and self-healing, host of Revolutionary Wellness Talk Radio, and publisher of Revolutionary Wellness magazine. Certified to teach Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) by the University of Massachusetts Medical School, she is the founding director and lead instructor for the Advanced Certificate in Mindfulness-Based Occupational Therapy at San Jose State University.

Rochelle has personally and professionally witnessed the integration of mindfulness as a healing balm for the heart, body, mind, and soul as well as a practice of transforming relationships to self and other. She has introduced awareness practices into patient care settings such as mental and physical disabilities, pediatric care, cancer care, and chronic pain.

Regularly leading retreats on integrating mindfulness into healthcare, Rochelle’s teachings are rooted in a devotion to help society slow down, remember our interdependence with each other and nature, and awaken a deep honoring of our human condition. She is committed to a revolution in healthcare by weaving mindfulness into institutions through connection, collaboration, and individual practice.

Hippocrates’ statement, “Let medicine be thy food and let food be thy medicine” is a visceral and spiritual experience for Rochelle, also a certified Gut and Psychology and Physiology Syndrome (GAPS) practitioner, who has witnessed profound healing as a parent treating her daughter with local, organic foods and holistic nutrition.
