    Janet Stone

    Yoga teacher

    Janet Stone is a San Francisco-based yoga teacher. Her studentship began at 17 under the meditation teachings of Prem Rawat. His reverence for simplicity and finding joy in the rise and fall of life live on in her practice and teaching today. She shares from the alchemy of her own sadhana through bhakti yoga and the eight-limbed path.

    Janet and her writing have been featured in numerous print and online publications, including Yoga Journal, Origin, Mantra, MindBodyGreen, and Elephant Journal.

    She is creator of the app Yoga with Janet Stone. She has trained with a diversity of senior teachers, including Dharma Mittra, Shiva Rea, Scott Blossom, John Friend, Sianna Sherman, Ana Forrest, Ramanand Patel, and Jai Uttal. She offers trainings, retreats, workshops, and more in San Francisco and throughout the world.

    Christopher Hareesh Wallis 

    Yoga and Sanskrit scholar and teacher

    Christopher Wallis, also known as  Hareesh, is a scholar-practitioner with 30 years of experience and 15 years of formal education in classical religion and Sanskrit.

    Initiated into the practice of yogic meditation at the age of 16, Hareesh  received traditional yoga education at ashrams  in upstate New York and India. He trained in meditation, mantra-science,  kirtan, karma yoga, and pedagogy. He then gained higher education at university in religion and classics, Sanskrit, and classical Indian religions. His doctoral dissertation focused on the role of spiritual experience in the tradition of Tantric Shaivism.

    Hareesh  is founder and head faculty of  Tantrik Yoga NOW and currently teaches meditation, yoga darśan  (practical philosophy),  Tantric  philosophy, Sanskrit, and mantra-science. He also offers spiritual counseling.

    Hareesh is the author of  Tantra Illuminated: The Philosophy, History, and Practice of a Timeless Tradition  and The Recognition Sutras: Illuminating a 1,000-Year-Old Spiritual Masterpiece.

    His studies have included mentorship and teaching by  Gurumayī Chidvilāsānandā  (dīkṣā-guru),  Paul Muller-Ortega  (Śaiva  Tantra and classical yoga), Alexis Sanderson (Śaiva  and  Śākta  Tantra and Sanskrit),  Marshall Rosenberg  (Nonviolent Communiction),  Somadeva  Vasudeva (Śaiva  Tantra),  Kolbjorn  Martens (Tantrik  Yoga), and  Adyashanti  (meditation).
