Inside each of us is an innate capacity for self-healing. With inspiring roots in both ancient healing traditions and breakthrough contemporary science, medical qigong helps the human body mobilize its own extraordinary healing capacities—enhancing vitality, restoring and nurturing a healthy balance of energy, strengthening and calming the nervous system, and rejuvenating the mind and body.
In this hands-on weekend workshop, Roger Jahnke, OMD, director of the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi (IIQTC), presents The Healer Within approach, developed from a Chinese medical qigong modality known as Bu Zheng Qigong or Vitality Enhancement Method. Learn to design and teach accessible qigong mind-body practices that can be performed standing, sitting, or even lying down, which are tailored to the specific needs of the individual.
You’ll study four essential sets of practices:
- Body postures and movements
- Breathing exercises
- Self-massage techniques
- Mental focus practices, including mindfulness meditation.
Whether you are in a helping profession and want to learn powerful self-healing practices to share with your clients or community, or simply want to awaken your inner healer and achieve radiant well-being, this training will equip you with powerful wellness tools you can use for a lifetime. You’ll also get exclusive access to a follow-up online support program, Internet library, and private Facebook group.
