Sparking Inner Connection
A Yoga-Inspired Journey
September 10 - 15, 2017
Sunday - Friday, 5 nights
Plus 5 nights all-inclusive accommodations priced separatelyRegistration Closed
This week we will awaken our senses, refine our skills of perception, and turn on our curiosity to experience a new quality of inner alignment and the courage to trust. Putting the pause on life, we engage in full self-attention and self-acceptance, remembering that like any good relationship, the one with ourselves requires our time and attention.
Our intention is to practice pratyahara—the yogic term for turning the senses inward. During our time together, we will develop this skill in many ways, orienting again and again to our inner wisdom. This is not a sweaty yoga workshop, though we will move. We will also sit, converse, laugh, and investigate. We will practice yoga postures, breath awareness, and meditation, and engage in discussions.
You will learn:
- Philosophical insights from ancient yogic texts made accessible for contemporary minds and lives
- Core practices for turning the senses inward that you can continue at home
- The benefits of wonderment to hold the mind and heart steady.
With pratyahara as the touchstone of your experience, you will discover a new freedom, a harmonious alignment with your heart, and the courage to trust yourself.
You will take home a much clearer sense of your amazing self and a renewed commitment to putting time and attention in your own direction on a regular basis in order to bring your best, most confident self to everything you do.
