Program Description

No matter what 2018 brought your way, there’s an opportunity to call in something new—not just to set intentions for the new year, but to embody them from the very core of your being.

Kick off the new year with a heart-opening weekend of breathing, yoga, dancing, and self-healing practices with yoga teacher and sound healer Wah! Set the stage for a blissful and transformative 2019 by connecting with your body, soul, and spirit.

In this New Year’s retreat, you will enjoy:

  • Morning movement and breathing
  • Afternoon chanting, toning (singing one note), meditation, dialogue, and discussion
  • Talks about self-care, self-healing, and other strategies for stress reduction
  • Exercises to explore self-connection and sound through singing and sound meditation
  • Qi Dance and flowing movement with breath to create and clear energy patterns in the body.

Purify, electrify, and get your life going with practices that are joyful, easy, and transforming. Come alone or with a loved one and raise your energy together.

    Wah!

Wah! teaches women’s leadership trainings, sound healing workshops, yoga teacher trainings, and performs healing concerts in planetariums and theaters throughout the United States.

The first female to bring kirtan music (call-and-response chanting performed in India’s devotional traditions) to the West in the 1990’s, Wah! has been playing bass guitar with her wildly joyful rock band throughout the world and at yoga festivals and centers since 1997. She has also consistently offered music and albums to the therapeutic market.

Her lectures on receptivity have been welcomed at universities including Princeton as well as conferences across the country. Her many CDs include Savasana (with more than 70,000 copies sold worldwide) and she is author of the book and CD Healing: A Vibrational Exchange.

  • Why Attend
    • Ring in the New Year with high-energy kirtan and start 2019 with an open heart and brighter spirit.

    • Wah!'s self-healing techniques, toning, and Qi Dance are synthesized from a lifetime of study in yoga and meditation traditions. “LESS STRESS, MORE WAH!” is a bumper sticker her fans made, summing up what people feel about this inspiring woman, her music, and her lectures.

    • Leave the tradition of excess libations and late-night parties behind. Deepen your self-love, reignite your connection to the divine, and leave with practices to inspire better care for yourself and others.
