Program Description

Experience the deep peace of mind and profound rest of iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation as you train in this integrative healing practice that gently encourages the body’s natural healing and awakening responses.
Accessible and effective, research has proven iRest to support the healing process across a broad range of populations and issues, including those with PTSD, chronic pain, sleep issues, high stress, depression, and anxiety.

Developed over 45 years by Richard Miller, PhD, iRest contributes to psychological, physical, and spiritual health, healing, and awakening. It allows practitioners to overcome unresolved issues and traumas and develop resiliency and well-being by tapping into the underlying source of equilibrium and comfort that is always present, even amidst life’s changing circumstances.

In this Level 1 training, you will learn:

  • The core principles and protocols of iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation
  • Effective methods for delivering iRest Meditation in both group and individual settings
  • How iRest works and the specific healing benefits it can offer
  • How to develop iRest as your own personal practice.

You will leave this training with a restorative practice to enhance your own resiliency and well-being and your ability and confidence to lead iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation sessions. You also have the option to become part of a community of like-minded individuals who teach iRest and are happy to offer support and guidance as you step into your role as an iRest teacher.
