Enjoy a 3-day weekend devoted to the pleasurable experience of health and well-being through the flowing, meditative movements of qigong. Robert Peng is an internationally renowned qigong master who shares this ancient healing practice as a practical and enjoyable antidote to the negative impacts of modern life.
The connection between health and stress is well known, and in qigong that relationship depends on the condition of our guardian qi. Guardian qi can be thought of as a shield of energy that runs along the body’s surface; it is created when our internal organs are strong and healthy. Guardian qi also acts like a bulletproof vest and can protect us from mental and emotional stress.
In this workshop for people at all stages of life, you will build up your inner power and guardian qi as you learn:
- An exercise known as 4 Cycles, originating from the fabled Shaolin Temple, to bring health to the vital organs and strengthen guardian qi
- How to focus on particular vertebra to support and create health in the corresponding internal organs
- Seasonal Empowerment practices to maintain vibrant guardian qi throughout the seasons of the year and your life.
Robert will also conduct an energetic group healing to support the health of your organs. You will leave with wisdom and exercises you can use in your life to continue to generate guardian qi for enhanced health.
Qigong master and healer
Robert Peng, born and raised in Hunan, China, is a world-renowned qigong master and healer. He began studying this ancient Chinese art of wisdom, love, and vitality at the age of eight under the legendary monk Xiao Yao.
At age 15, Robert performed a 100-day water fast at a secluded monastery in the mountains of the Hunan province and underwent a profound spiritual transformation. He began teaching at the age of 29 and has helped hundreds of thousands find peace, health, happiness, and creativity through qigong.
Robert’s approach is uniquely accessible across cultures and walks of life while still conveying the true essence of the art and practice.
Robert is a regular presenter at several organizations and centers, including the Omega Institute and the Integrative Healthcare Symposium. He is creator of numerous DVDs, such as Qigong Ecstasy, AM/PM Qigong, and the series The Master Key: Qigong Secrets for Vitality, Love, and Wisdom.
