Program Description

For any woman ready to take the lid off of their power, passion, and intuition—this workshop is for you!

Join forces with Toni Bergins, MEd, of JourneyDance™, Rochelle Schieck of Qoya, and Parashakti of Dance of Liberation™. This powerful collaboration of evolutionary soul transformation calls you to gather on the dance floor and remember the truth that lives deep in the wisdom of your body.

In this weekend of movement and music, you will:

    Toni Bergins, MEd

    Transformational dance facilitator and teacher trainer

    Toni Bergins is known internationally as a transformational dance facilitator and teacher trainer. Founder and creator of JourneyDance™—a transformational movement practice that is accessible to everyone—she leads JourneyDance at conferences, studios, and retreat centers throughout the world, including Kripalu Center and Omega Institute, and has a growing team of more than 500 JourneyDance teachers worldwide.

    Toni has also produced a popular instructional CD and created a clothing line, and she has been featured in numerous publications, including Yoga and FitnessRx.

    Toni connects people to their innate source of energy and creative wisdom through guided movement, combined with visualization, soulful music, and space for personal exploration on the dance floor. She brings a sense of humor and a deep passion to her JourneyDance work.

    Rochelle Schieck

    Author, Founder of Qoya

    Rochelle Schieck is the founder of Qoya, a movement system based on the idea that through movement, we remember that our essence is wise, wild and free. Wise, wild and free also references the movement forms in Qoya – yoga, dance, and feminine movement.

    Since 2009, Rochelle has trained hundreds of Qoya teachers, led more than 4,000 movement classes, facilitated hundreds of private sessions, and taken women on dozens of retreats to six different continents in the most sacred places on earth.

    Parashakti

    Mover, shaker, founder of Dance of Liberation™

    Parashakti is the founder and creator of Dance of Liberation (DOL), a method of movement therapy and deep process work that draws on shamanic traditions to help individuals achieve emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual integration.

    A devoted student of dance and yoga, Parashakti has facilitated workshops, trainings, and retreats for more than two decades. She has brought DOL from Los Angeles, New York, and Guatemala to Indonesia, Israel, and Greece, and has adapted DOL’s teachings as a modality for recovery from addiction, PTSD, and disordered eating.

    The developer of SoulHealing™, Parashakti also helps people discover their soul’s deeper meanings and life mission through private intuitive healing sessions. She is both the subject and co-producer of the full-length documentary Dance of Liberation, which premiered at the Sedona Film Festival and was acquired for distribution through FMTV. She has been featured on television, as well as in LA Yoga magazine, Newsweek, Time Out NY, and the Jerusalem Post.
