Program Description

When you change how you move, you change how you live. In this transformative weekend with Irene Lyon, MSC, expert in nervous system health, the Feldenkrais Method®, and Somatic Experiencing®, and Elia Mrak, dancer, athlete, and Qigong practitioner, you will explore what science has already shown. Simple, functional movement, like getting down on the floor and coming back up again, can help prolong and improve your quality of life.

Through structured group lessons, personal exploration, and movement games, you will:

  • Engage the body’s most important systems: nervous, respiratory, vestibular, skeletal, circulatory, and immune
  • Break free of familiar patterns of stress and tension through the art and science of simple body movement
  • Explore flow, fun, freedom, and function—the four Fs of a healthy and fruitful life
  • Learn how to access the benefits of meditation, without staying still.

Come get drunk in your own movement, practice potent posture, and connect with your environment in a new way. Leave with tools you can use daily to keep up your practice and improve your ease of movement.
