The Book You Were Born to Write
A Workshop for Aspiring Transformational Authors
January 6 - 11, 2019
Sunday - Friday, 5 nights
Plus 5 nights all-inclusive accommodations priced separatelyRegistration Closed
Is there a book in you just waiting to come into being? Inspiring wisdom ready to be written, bound, and published? Make your book dreams real in this 5-day workshop with longtime book editor and celebrated writing coach Kelly Notaras.
Kelly will explain everything you need to know about breaking into the transformational nonfiction market, while providing plenty of time to go deep and write.
Over this supportive, informative, and inspiring program, you will:
- Write every day—planting the seed of the habit you’ll need to finish your project
- Hone your “hook” (your book’s North Star) so it’s both saleable and magnetic
- Learn your publishing options and decide whether to start with a proposal or a full-length manuscript
- Get a hefty dose of inspiration from a writing and editing pro.
Whether you’re just starting out, or you’ve already got a draft underway, this workshop is the right next step toward making your book dream a reality.
Writer, editor, and steward of life-changing books
A 15-year publishing veteran, Kelly Notaras has helped write, edit, and market some of the world’s best transformational nonfiction books. In 2013 she opened kn literary arts, an editorial studio with one mission: to bring life-changing books into the world—and make sure they’re excellent once they’re here.
A former editor for HarperCollins, Penguin USA, Hyperion Books, and the multimedia spirituality publishing company, Sounds True, Kelly has overseen an impressive list of spiritual luminaries including Adyashanti, Reggie Ray, Krishna Das, Sharon Salzberg, Pema Chödrön, Caroline Myss, and many more.
Through kn literary arts alone, Kelly has had the honor of editing a wide variety of personal growth books including New York Times best sellers The Tapping Solution by Nick Ortner and Pussy: A Reclamation by Regena “Mama Gena” Thomashauer. She has also edited all three of Nancy Levin’s popular books: Jump…and Your Life Will Appear, Worthy, and The New Relationship Blueprint. The kn literary arts’ client list also includes Drew Canole, Sara Gottfried, Carrie Green, Matt Kahn, Danette May, Michael Morelli, Agapi Stassinopoulos, Kate Northrup, and many others.View Bio Page
