Do you long to accept and love yourself exactly as you are? Do you wish to embrace your sexuality and get more in touch with your body?
Tantra is a practice that examines the way our life force expands and circulates through the body with grace, power, and sensuality. Join transformational teachers Banafsheh Sayyad, MFA, MA, and Tony Khalife and reconnect with this energy through an exploration of sacred dance and music.
In this women-only workshop, you will experience guided and freestyle dance, live music, whirling, chanting, voice training, meditation, Goddess wisdom, Sufi teachings, and lots of laughter. Dance of Oneness® also incorporates the traditions of tai chi, Persian dance, flamenco, Middle Eastern tribal dances, and Chinese medicine.
During this retreat, you will learn:
- Active relaxation and how to apply it to movement in your daily life activities
- How to open to your own sacred sensuality and celebrate your femininity
- Tantric exercises to increase creative energy
- Ways to open your voice.
Dance of Oneness® is suitable for dance and yoga teachers and anyone who wishes to embody the sacred through movement.
“No dance or movement experience required; all are welcome.”

Tony Khalife is a Lebanese-born singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist acclaimed for weaving a seamless flow of the drone and ragas of Indian music together with the resonance of devotional Sufi dances and Western harmonies.
Tony, a Vedic scholar, has studied the life and songs of Indian saints and ancient rituals in Sanskrit, served seven years as a ceremonial guide at the Vishwa Shanti Ashram in Oakland, California, and spent one year in India on a pilgrimage singing and chanting from Haridwar to Pandharpur.
Tony was his own first teacher—his childhood and formal education was hijacked by civil war, so he taught himself guitar in a bomb shelter and cultivated a system for learning anything, which he uses to help students craft the most efficient system for overcoming roadblocks in their life. Based in Ojai, California, and creator of numerous CDs, he has been performing and teaching internationally for 30 years.View Bio Page
