Are you a fitness or movement professional looking to help your students feel better, stronger, happier, and more relaxed? Yoga Tune Up® is a potently therapeutic style of conscious, corrective exercise that strikes a balance between the worlds of yoga, fitness, and myofascial self-care.

Through a yogic lens of awareness, conscious relaxation, and body therapy, you will delve deeply into precise, integrated anatomy and body mechanics and discover a fresh approach to asana, going beyond formulaic instruction to truly learn how to think and teach creatively within your classroom.

You will break down the nuts and bolts of human movement and learn strategies for the classroom. In this 70-hour training, you will:

  • Become proficient and comfortable with the fundamentals of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
  • Learn a step-by-step guide to creating memorable, accessible classes and learn to “think out of the boxasana”
  • Refresh your love of teaching and learn new classroom leadership skills.

You will take home a safe, accessible, effective workout and a series of pain relief practices suitable for students of all ages and body types, and will be ready to teach your own Yoga Tune Up® classes, private sessions, and more.

Faculty Bio

Jill Miller

Jill Miller is cofounder of Tune Up Fitness Worldwide and creator of the corrective exercise formats Yoga Tune Up® and The Roll Model® method. With nearly 30 years of study in anatomy and movement, Jill is a pioneer in forging relevant links between the worlds of fitness, yoga, massage, athletics, and pain management.

Jill has trained thousands of movement educators, clinicians, and manual therapists to incorporate her Therapy Ball products into fitness, athletic, and medical facility programs internationally, including 24 Hour Fitness, YogaWorks, Equinox, Cedars-Sinai, and numerous professional sports teams.

She has presented case studies at the Fascia Research Congress and International Association of Yoga Therapy conferences, and has been interviewed for numerous magazines, including Shape, Men’s Journal, and Yoga Journal. Her television appearances include Good Morning America, and she is featured regularly on the Oprah Winfrey Network. Author of the internationally bestselling book The Roll Model, she has also created dozens of DVDs.
