Writing for Bliss

Telling Your Story and Transforming Your Life

1440 Multiversity 800 Bethany Drive Scotts Valley,CA 95066

We each have a story inside us that is ours alone to tell. It may be the result of a life-changing event, an epiphany, a transcendent episode, or a secret. Following your bliss is about tapping into your authentic self. Writing for bliss is about reflection, truth, and freedom.

Join Diana Raab, MFA, PhD, on a voyage of self-discovery toward bliss based on her new book, Writing for Bliss: A Seven-Step Plan for Telling Your Story and Transforming Your Life. You will find your unique and intimate stories and be guided on how to tell them in a safe and judgment-free environment.

Through writing prompts, exercises, and discussion you will be guided and nurtured through the writing process to help access the writer within.

In this weekend workshop, you will explore:

  • The art of storytelling—the connection between mind-body-spirit and writing, and how the balance between these forces keeps creative energy flowing
  • How to prepare to write, how to cultivate self-awareness, and how to find your story
  • How to speak your truth and how to find your form of self-expression, be it memoir, essay, poetry, or blogging
  • A transformative journey that will lead you to a new sense of empowerment and an overall sense of authenticity and well-being.
