Writing Your Deeper Life

Making Your Unknown Known

1440 Multiversity 800 Bethany Drive Scotts Valley,CA 95066

“Only the shallow know themselves.”
—Oscar Wilde

Who we are is a mystery to ourselves—and to everyone else. We are here to unfold the mystery of our true identity and of the unique story of our own life. Your truest story lies in the deep heart, which runs through our days like an underground stream, leaving its mark on everything we do or say.

Join writing guide Roger Housden to explore your deeper heart’s desires, the truths you may know but have been afraid to act on, and the courage required to claim them. You will be guided by writing prompts and the shared experience of the group to drop your line down into that stream.

In this immersive writing weekend, you will learn to:

  • Give voice to your life’s deeper purpose and direction
  • Deepen your trust in the life you have
  • Give voice to the values you live by
  • Deepen your relationship to yourself and others by coming closer to the truth of your own experience.

This workshop is for both non-writers (people interested in using writing to deepen their relationship to self and others) and writers (both occasional writers who want to go deeper, as well as practiced writers wanting to explore their inner journey).
