Tune Up Your Teaching With YOGAMAZÉ

1440 Multiversity 800 Bethany Drive Scotts Valley,CA 95066

Are you ready to play hard and challenge both your asana and teaching practice?

Join accomplished “teacher of yoga teachers” Noah Mazé for five in-depth asana workshops: standing poses to ground you, fundamental vinyasa poses and transitions; sitting forward bends to open your heart and breathing; back bends to systematically strengthen your core and open your shoulders, upper back, hips, and legs; and integrated body/mind/heart opening.

Each day, you will also delve into a different aspect of working with students. You will learn YOGAMAZÉ’s sequencing templates and create effective class plans for all purposes and levels.

You will also explore:

  • Perfecting verbal cues to give your voice clarity and power, make your instructions more resonant, and employ instructional hierarchy of foundation, basic shape, key actions, and refinements
  • A variety of types of postural demonstrations, pose improvement strategies, and the development of keen observation
  • Effective, creative vinyasa sequencing and transitions with teaching techniques to highlight breath, movement, rhythm, and momentum while maintaining sound alignment for all levels
  • Conscious use of the subtler aspects of teaching: theme, myth, metaphor, storytelling, vulnerability, ethics, and boundaries.

You will awaken to the principles that empower you to open safely and powerfully to a full spectrum practice of asana, pranayama, and meditation. You will take home an effective instruction toolkit that will take your teaching to new levels.
