Faculty Bio

Jacqueline Carter, MS

Jacqueline Carter, a management and organizational development expert, is an international partner of the Potential Project, whose mission is to enhance organizational and individual performance and well-being through skillful application of mindfulness in a corporate context.

Also the director of the North American branch of the organization, Jacqueline has more than 20 years of experience supporting organizations in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors going through large-scale change.

With a master’s degree in organizational behavior, she has held a wide range of leadership and consulting roles across a range of industries, including transportation, oil and gas, insurance, and government. For the past decade, Jacqueline has been teaching mindfulness in organizations, helping them integrate mindfulness practices into daily organizational life in order to increase focus, clarity, and results.

Her clients include Google, Sony, American Express, Suncor, and RBC, among others, and she has led sessions on corporate mindfulness at numerous international conferences. She contributes regularly to the Huffington Post and has appeared on Breakfast Television as well as radio talk shows.

Rasmus Hougaard, MA

Rasmus Hougaard is the founder and managing director of the Potential Project, whose mission is to enhance organizational and individual performance and well-being through skillful application of mindfulness in a corporate context.

With a master’s degree in organizational development and adult learning, and more than 15 years experience in practicing and teaching mindfulness training, Rasmus launched the Potential Project in 2009, following years of working with leading scientists, corporate executives, and mind-training experts. The organization works with Fortune 500 companies in more than 20 countries—their clients include Accenture, Nike, American Express, Microsoft, and Google.

Rasmus and his 100 colleagues in the Potential Project have helped countless individuals and organizational teams become more mindful and effective in everything they do.
