Learn to let go of stress, release the issues in your tissues, and open your energy centers. Using techniques Mimi developed to help herself heal from neck and back injuries from a car accident, you will work with both anatomy and its energetic components as you explore postures aimed at releasing trauma caused by PTSD, surgery, and the stress of daily life.

You will:

  • Practice Yin and restorative yoga poses to gain meditative insights into physical and emotional challenges
  • Learn to observe thoughts and emotions that create chronic pain
  • Experience mental and physical relaxation and increase your body awareness
  • Reduce tension and soreness and lubricate your tissues and joints
  • Explore meditation exercises to calm and refocus the mind.

You will experience a gentle yoga practice that stimulates your muscular, circulatory, and nervous systems, providing a balanced approach to aligning the body, mind, and breath. This workshop is open to anyone seeking to become more flexible in body and mind.
