Cultivate physical and emotional support—key ingredients for any relationship—through a gentle yet challenging approach to deepening your self-awareness as well as your ability to trust and communicate.

In this program you will:

  • Participate in yoga classes, interactive discussions and activities, games, lectures, and both solo and partnered hands-on exercises
  • Strengthen the body through rigorous poses and, with the assistance of a partner, find new ways to balance and release into relaxing stretches
  • Be guided in interactive group discussions focused on four principles to mastering any relationship, including Vedanta philosophy, and how you can use these ancient yoga teachings to find happiness and peace in your relationships and your life
  • Learn an empowered approach to better understanding yourself and those closest to you
  • Take home an effective plan to improve communication in all aspects of your life.

Faculty Bio

Eric Paskel

Eric Paskel has been teaching yoga since 1988. He is a licensed marriage, family, and child therapist and a certified yoga instructor and sports counselor.

Eric teaches yoga at Yoga Journal conferences, Wanderlust, Bhakti Fest, and the Kripalu Center for Yoga; Health and is the only Western yoga teacher to be blessed by Swami Parthasarathy to lecture on the Vedanta philosophies.

Eric founded, owned and operated a family of ten yoga studios in Michigan and California.

His mission was to provide affordable yoga classes to the community
In 2014, Eric hosted Yoga Rocks at Ford Field in Detroit, breaking the record for the largest indoor yoga class. He is also a brand ambassador for Ahnu.

Eric’s latest and greatest creation is Electric Soul Yoga.

Rina Jakubowicz

Rina Jakubowicz is a bilingual yoga teacher, Reiki practitioner, motivational speaker, author, and TV show host.

Known for her vibrant and uplifting approach to yoga, she has been a ‰”teacher of teachers” for more than 10 years, teaching internationally in countries such as Chile and Puerto Rico, and throughout the United States at top retreat centers, conferences and events, including the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, the Himalayan Institute, Wanderlust, the Omega Institute, the Santa Fe Yoga Festival, and Yoga Journal conferences.

Rina is one of Gaiam TV‰’s featured teachers, the yoga expert on Univision‰’s Tu Desayuno Alegre, and a regular contributor for MindBodyGreen, Elephant Journal, Yoga Journal Online, and My Yoga Online. She has appeared on the cover of Yoga Journal‰ and can be seen in magazines such as Mantra, Origin, Way, and Buena Vida.

Rina founded and owns two Rina Yoga studios in the Miami area and was selected as a Business Leader Magazine‰’s 2011 South Florida Business Leader Mover and Shaker. She is the creator of Snooze Yoga‰—a mobile yoga app offering short sequences with voice-guided instructions, images of poses, and video demonstrations‰—and Super Yogis‰’s Schoolhouse, a pioneering yoga curriculum for children and teens.
