The weekend includes well-rounded power vinyasa yoga flows, gentle yoga with twists to purify the body, and important yoga teachings on diet, detoxification, and nutrition to help you live a life full of vitality.

Through engaging experiential sessions, you will learn to:

  • Build strength, balance, and flexibility during physical practice
  • Access equanimity through breathing exercises (pranayama)
  • Cultivate joy through meditation
  • Use the practices of yoga to inspire your daily life.

The weekend kicks off Friday night with a warm welcome from Travis and a well-rounded power vinyasa class to prepare you for deeper things to come!

Saturday morning opens with Travis sharing his philosophy on diet, detoxification, and nutrition for living a life full of vitality. As well, you will learn different pranayama and meditation techniques to develop strategies for stress management. After this lecture and discussion, Travis will lead you through a gentle class with an extra dosage of twists to purify the body, followed by a sweet and deep floor series focusing on longer stretches and holds.

On Saturday afternoon, Travis welcomes Bryan Kest—known throughout the world for his style of integrating body, mind, and spirit—to lead a well-rounded asana flow that invigorates the body and helps you practice developing a calm, less reactive state of mind. In Bryan’s Power Yoga™ class, you are encouraged to focus on the process and not the end result.

On Sunday, the weekend will end with a bang, as Travis leads you through an absolutely epic yoga flow.

Faculty Bio

Travis Eliot

Travis Eliot is an international yoga instructor, kirtan musician, and author. Known for a teaching style that is dynamic, transforming, and full of heart, he offers his signature Holistic Yoga Flow classes in Los Angeles, California, directs Holistic Yoga Flow teacher trainings, and leads workshops and retreats throughout the world.

Travis is creator of several yoga DVDs, including the groundbreaking series The Ultimate Yogi, as well as the acclaimed kirtan CD, The Meaning of Soul, which debuted at number three on the iTunes World Music charts.

Coauthor of Holistic Yoga Flow: The Path of Practice, Travis has been featured in numerous magazines, including Asana Journal, Self, and Fitness Trainer, as well as the Huffington Post.

A pioneer and leader in the yoga and fitness industry, he has an ability to make the authentic teachings of yoga accessible to a contemporary audience.

Bryan Kest

Bryan Kest started practicing yoga when he was 15 years old and has been practicing ever since. A yoga teacher for more than three decades, he is the original creator of Power Yoga, a unique workout for the body, mind, and spirit.

His mainstream popularity is matched by an authentic foundation in the ancient practice of yoga, including a year studying Ashtanga Yoga directly with Pattabhi Jois.

Bryan founded and teaches at two studios in Santa Monica, California, leads workshops and retreats throughout the world, and delivers an intensive teacher training program. In addition to many DVD series and audio CDs, Bryan was also featured in his own Warner Brothers video series.

His most recent endeavor is PowerYoga OnLine, where students from throughout the world can stream Bryan‰’s classes recorded live in his Santa Monica studio.
