Faculty Bio

David Crow, LaC

David Crow is an acupuncturist and herbalist with 30 years of training and practice, and an expert in Chinese, Ayurvedic, and contemporary herbal medicine. He is the author of several books, including In Search of the Medicine Buddha, which describes his studies with traditional healers in the Himalayas.

A well-known lecturer in the field of natural medicine, David’s work is largely focused on the synthesis of botanical medicine, ecology, and spirituality. He is the founder of Floracopeia, a company that supports ecologically sustainable agriculture through the production of essential oils and aromatics.

Through writing, teaching, and activism, David is promoting the creation of a grassroots healthcare system based on community gardens. He is a cofounder of the Learning Garden at Venice High School in Los Angeles, one of the country’s largest school gardens.

David has trained more than 5,000 students in online and live courses over the last two years.
