Make Yourself a Priority

Achieve Optimal Health, Fitness, and Wellness

1440 Multiversity 800 Bethany Drive Scotts Valley,CA 95066

Movement and exercise are often emphasized as the main variables in successful weight loss, fat loss, and health—but it’s not the whole picture.

Join personal trainer and fitness expert Brien Shamp, BS, CSCS, and discover how to work with what he has identified in his coaching program as the seven primal needs for optimal health: breathing; hydration; sleep; food; love, connection, and contribution; personal development; and movement.

Through group discussions and sharing, journaling, and walking, hiking, and breathing exercises in nature, you will explore:

  • Exercise sessions focusing on mobility, posture, strength, high-intensity interval training, recovery, functional activities of daily living, and common injuries
  • Emphasizing stress reduction and the awareness of behavioral patterns related to the top four primal needs—breathing, hydration, sleep, and nutrition
  • Strategies to improve these areas in order to reduce stress, reduce weight and body fat, and improve overall health and vitality
  • Ideas on how to get your needs met through your relationships, and the importance of personal development to always feel like you are growing.

You will take home strategies to reduce stress and improve health, fitness, and vitality—as well as rituals for success while focusing on what truly matters in life.

All levels are welcome. The program is especially useful for beginners, those who have been unsuccessful with fitness and nutrition, and those with injuries. Workouts can be modified as needed.
