The Healing Power of Laughter

1440 Multiversity 800 Bethany Drive Scotts Valley,CA 95066

Can comedy save you and the world? Quite possibly! You’ll be amazed that something so fun can be so good for you. When the going gets tough, sometimes the best medicine is not taking things too seriously.

This incredibly fun workshop will soothe your spirit in these trying times and give you a boost of much needed lightheartedness. Guided by comedy improv pro Jacqueline Kabat, you will explore the basic principles of improvisational comedy and tap into your personal potential.

Working together as a group in order to minimize any stage fright, you will learn:

  • How to use comedy as a vehicle for personal transformation, personal growth, and a lighter way of looking at the world
  • The basic tenets and techniques of improv
  • To get comfortable performing in front of others, getting on a stage, and dealing with the fear of failure that stands in the way of your achieving your goals.

By applying the fundamental lesson of improv—being present and open to whatever happens—you will increase your confidence, improve your relationship skills, and learn to creatively deal with a world of uncertainty and change.
