Mirabai who is the co-founder of the Center for Contemplative Mind in Society is co-creator of the celebrated Search Inside Yourself program at Google – a mindfulness program that is the most popular training program at Google. Gopi is a long time Google executive who was in the pilot program of Search Inside Yourself and is also the founder of the Yoglers worldwide yoga program at Google.

In this course you will learn:

Faculty Bio

Mirabai Bush

Mirabai Bush is cofounder and former executive director of the Center for Contemplative Mind in Society, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to encourage contemplative awareness in American life in order to create a more just, compassionate, and reflective society.

She has designed and led mindfulness trainings for corporations such as Hearst and Google and developed programs in contemplative practice for journalists, lawyers and judges, higher-education faculty, environmental leaders, social-justice activists, and the army.

She studied with many contemplative teachers, including Neem Karoli Baba, Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, Kalu Rinpoche, Kanai Sensei, and others. She is a coauthor, with Ram Dass, of Compassion in Action; author of the CD and e-book Working with Mindfulness; editor of Contemplation Nation: How Ancient Practices Are Changing the Way We Live; and, most recently, coauthor of Contemplative Practices in Higher Education.

Gopi Kallayil, MBA

Gopi Kallayil is Chief Evangelist for Brand Marketing at Google, helping grow customer brands through digital marketing.

Before joining Google, Gopi was on the management team of two Silicon Valley venture-funded startups. He has also led information-technology projects for global corporations in India, China, and the United States.

Gopi earned his bachelor‰’s degree in electronics engineering from the National Institute of Technology in India and received MBAs from the Indian Institute of Management and the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

An avid yoga practitioner, triathlete, and global traveler, as well as a Burning Man devotee, he has spoken at TEDx, Renaissance Weekend, the World Peace Festival, and Wisdom 2.0.

He is host of Change Makers, a public-access TV show in which he interviews people who are making a change, making a difference, and making an impact. He is also author of The Internet to the Inner-net.
