In Touch

Tune into the Inner Guidance of Your Body and Trust Yourself

1440 Multiversity 800 Bethany Drive Scotts Valley,CA 95066

Embark on a unique 5-day journey of inner experience and knowing with pioneering psychotherapist and author of In Touch: How to Tune into the Inner Guidance of Your Body and Trust Yourself, John J. Pendergrast.

Our bodies have a natural sense of intimacy and authenticity—particularly once they are freed from the conditioning veils of our limiting beliefs, reactive feelings, and somatic contractions. As these veils are seen and felt, we grow in our self-trust, inner authority, and genuine intimacy with the whole of life.

In this workshop, we will explore how to be more deeply in touch with ourselves through the felt-sense of the holistic intelligence of the body. Through talks, dialogues, partnered inquiries, guided and silent meditation, body sensing, and subtle-body yoga, you will experience:

  • Practices to open your heart and whole body to deeper self-attunement
  • Skills for staying present with difficult feelings
  • A variety of tools for listening to the body in new ways, engaging in self-inquiry, and discovering a felt-sense of inner knowing
  • How to see through limiting beliefs that reinforce a separate sense of self.

Together we will engage, share, and play as we explore and push past our edges. We will open to a spontaneous self-intimacy and self-trust that empowers us to live an authentic life inspired by reliance on something deeper than our thinking mind.
