Faculty Bio

Devarshi Steven Hartman, E-RYT

Devarshi Steven Hartman is cofounder of the Pranotthan School of Yoga, founder of LifeQuest Intensive, cofounder of the Acharya Intensive, faculty member of Nosara Yoga Institute‰’s Advanced Yoga Teacher Training curriculum, and former dean of the Kripalu School of Yoga.

A student and teacher of yoga and yoga philosophy since 1974, Devarshi was a longtime resident of the original Kripalu ashram and has dedicated his life to the study and practice of the art and science of yoga and transformation.

In addition to leading yoga certification trainings, workshops, and retreats throughout the country, Devarshi is a healing arts practitioner, spiritual coach, and instructor of A Course in Miracles. He is also the creator of the best-selling audio production The Essence of the Bhagavad Gita.
