Innovative dance professional and master teacher Joe Goode has decades of experiences making original dance theater works and has evolved his teaching methodology to guide and inspire others in getting out of their own way, accessing body intelligence, and releasing their authentic voices. In this program designed for all ages and bodies, no movement experience is expected or necessary and you will learn:

  • Enhanced presence with your own emotions and physical body—the “felt experience”
  • Increased ability to notice, inquire, listen, and respond to others
  • Greater awareness of your body and how it relates to the world
  • New ways of creative thinking that can be applied to a creative practice, the workplace, and daily life.

Each session incorporates meditation, gentle floor exercises, opening the voice, and simple improvisational scores that focus on listening, feeling, and accepting the body. As you participate in the variety of experiential exercises, you will be challenged, opened up, and completely supported in discovering new sources of connection and presence.

For everyone interested in creative expression, seeking to become a better communicator, or wanting to gain confidence in relating with themselves and others, you will return home having uncovered essential aspects of yourself and more ready to move forward in new self-expression and expressions of self.
