have been teaching and facilitating retreats for decades, lead nonprofit educational foundations in their areas of expertise, and are eminent lineage holders in their respective traditions.

With years of experience, ease in communication, and extensive knowledge of their subject, together they will teach you how to maintain a healthy, balanced, and spiritually focused life through the philosophy and practical application of yoga and Ayurveda.

Faculty Bio

Yogacharya Ellen Grace O’Brian

Yogacharya Ellen Grace O’Brian is a western woman who teaches the riches of Indian philosophy in a fully accessible and inspiring way for newcomers and longtime practitioners alike. Ordained by Roy Eugene Davis, a direct disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda, she has been leading meditation retreats for more than three decades nationally and internationally.

Acharya Shunya

Acharya Shunya is an internationally recognized spiritual teacher, lineage holder, authority and scholar in Ayurveda, Yoga, and Vedanta. She teaches at Vedika Global, her wisdom school and spiritual community in Northern California and worldwide via online courses. Shunya is president of California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine and Adviser to the Government of India on International Ayurveda affairs.
