Faculty Bio

Britt Barrett, AHC (Ayurvedic Health Counselor)

Britt Barrett, AHC (Ayurvedic Health Counselor), came to Ayurveda through her personal quest to seek natural healing from a chronic digestive disease. Deeply inspired by her own transformation, she continued her studies so she could share this powerful knowledge with the world—offering one-on-one coaching, retreats, and corporate seminars. Her specialty is working with adults and children who suffer from digestive issues.

Britt came to Ayurveda as part of her personal quest to find natural remedies for chronic digestive disease. She discovered Ayurveda in 2009, and was fully cured soon after through following an Ayurvedic diet and lifestyle. She completed a rigorous three-year training at Vedika Global College of Ayurveda under Acharya Shunya Pratichi Mathur and several other renowned Ayurveda masters to become an Ayurvedic lifestyle and wellness counselor in 2011.

Britt founded Daily Ayurveda in 2012, and now leads Ayurvedic retreats and corporate wellness workshops around the world. Her specialty is working with adults and children who suffer from digestive issues. Britt also loves to cook Ayurvedic cuisine and is passionate about caring for the homeless population. She started a passion project called Food For The People with a close friend in 2016, where she cooks organic healing meals for the homeless and hand delivers the food. Britt enjoys being active, and feels most alive when she is out in nature.
