Mapping Your Life Story

Discover, Reshape, and Embody Your Personal Myth

1440 Multiversity 800 Bethany Drive Scotts Valley,CA 95066

The word mythos translates from Greek as the “story of the people.” How does myth shape your life and influence your personal actions? Does it inspire you? Or does it constrain you from living your best life?

Join international yoga teacher and holistic psychotherapist Coral Brown, E-RYT 500, LMHC, for an in-depth exploration of your personal mythology and the power of storytelling as a resource for illuminating your life journey.

You will engage in walking meditation, partnered active listening exercises, journaling, and individualized reflections.

You will also explore:

  • Yoga poses combined with Hindu mythology and its historic cast of characters
  • Joseph Campbell’s revered works, and Jungian depth psychology
  • How to identify and move beyond outdated myths that no longer serve a purpose
  • Modern and ancient myths and their roots, to delve into the function of myth in culture, your family of origin, and your individual experience
  • Stories that are holding you back from living a fully embodied, evolved life, and how to choose new ones that offer you an empowered, authentic path.

You will take home tips and techniques rooted in ancient narratives and modern psychology to help you tell the life stories you want to be telling. Anyone interested in examining their life journey from an allegorical perspective is welcome.
